My name is Yaite and despite having a first training as an occupational therapist, I cannot deny that applied behavior analysis has also stolen my heart because of the amount of literary evidence that gives veracity to this therapy. ABA International Academy with the opportunity of technology, makes it easier to reach many more people for the dissemination of behavioral therapy information, not only in the United States but also in Spanish speaking countries.
The main focus of ABA International Academy is to educate professionals and parents in order to increase and improve the quality of life of children with special needs for better social, emotional, and behavioral integration.
ABA International Academy is a project that has been in my mind since I started studying the field of ABA and realized the scarcity of resources (especially in Spanish) that exists, both for people trying to pursue this career professionally, as well as for family members or teachers interested in learning on a personal level.
We want to bring awareness to the importance of behavioral therapy and encourage more people to educate themselves on the subject and specialize in order to effectively provide services to the entire neuro-diverse community.
